Senior Manager, Enterprise Sales & Distribution (National FMCGS)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven National Sales and Growth Manager to lead our Sales and Distribution team. This role is critical in driving sales growth, expanding market share and overseeing the strategic direction of our Enterprise FMCGS&P business. the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of 5-7 years in Sales Marketing, particularly in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the strategic objectives for the successful rollout of existing business services, especially for the defined FMCGS Products and Services, including setting direction for new business opportunities, namely, Telco Services, Payments Services, and E-commerce Products and Services.
- MoM, QoQ, and YoY growth and performance targets, strategies to be developed, approved, and implemented.
- Develop KPIs covering business operations and admirable revenue targets.
- Development of the required strategies to grow the BOU, implementation of the stated strategies, and, where required, set up frameworks needed to onboard external investments and investors.
- Develop required PPPs to measure the transactional and financial performance of related BOU, including automation using existing tools or recommending new tools as required.
- Managing diverse cross-functional teams and their outputs and helping to create an open feedback culture.
- Develop framework for B2BC engagement for successful delivery and business performance of the given BOU – Retailers, Dealers, Sales Agents etc.
- Build and manage a significant channel partner network utilizing dealers/franchisees and key retail outlets to drive market penetration.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets in line with company goals.
- Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and expand market penetration.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and distribution team to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure compliance with sales processes, policies, and industry regulations.
- Set realizable sales targets and effective monitoring policies to drive team performance.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to develop competitive strategies.
- Develop business performance reports outlining business performance status at any given instance.
- Implement periodic business performance reports (Audit) and, where required, provide recommendations for better performance.
- Hands-on field management experience vital for BOU operations.
- Development and management of start-up business vital, with demonstrable experience and understanding of what it takes to grow startups.
- C-Level reporting experience, operate as a trusted adviser to business stakeholders, and provide business advisory.
- Team and people management skills – training, coaching, and key leadership qualities.
- Budget planning and management.
- Excellent communication and presentation culture and skill set.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Senior Sales Manager with at least 5-7 years of sales experience in FMCG products and services, hands-on management experience.
- Proven experience in managing and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Strong knowledge of FMCG sales strategies, distribution channels, and market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
- BSc./HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proficiency in CRM tools, sales forecasting, and reporting systems.
