We seek to hire a Motion Designer & Video Editor to be the creative force behind our video content. You will be crafting eye-catching, on-brand videos for our social media, blogs, ads, and campaigns. From designing scroll-stopping animations to creating polished, production-ready assets, you’ll be at the heart of our visual storytelling. Plus, you’ll create in-app animations that bring our brand to life.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop engaging animated content for diverse marketing platforms—social media, blogs, paid ads, and campaigns—delivering polished, brand-enhancing assets that captivate audiences. Manage projects from concept to completion within tight deadlines, ensuring consistent brand representation.
- Collaborate across teams (marketing, product, design, development, and business) to guarantee design coherence and alignment with brand goals.
- Iterate on designs using feedback and data, proactively shaping creative strategy. Contribute to brainstorming sessions focused on refining and elevating brand guidelines.
- Maintain and update the company’s content library.
- Produce video presentations that effectively communicate the company’s vision and mission for conferences and internal use.
You must possess:
- Possess 6+ years of experience in video production, editing, and motion design, including workflow management and adherence to brand visual guidelines.
- Present a strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of aesthetics and design principles, effectively communicating intended messages.
- Demonstrate expertise in fundamental design principles (typography, color theory, composition, and branding), with the ability to clearly articulate design thinking and rationale.
- Proven ability to convey brand messaging through short, impactful videos optimized for social media engagement.
- Expert knowledge of key social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter), including evolving formats, trends, filters, and platform-specific best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating and defending design choices in complex situations.
- Knowledge of AI and editing tools for video and animation production.
- Proficient in design tools, including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro), and Google Workspace.
- Expertise in fundamental design principles, including typography, color theory, composition, and branding, with the ability to articulate design thinking and rationale.
- Proven experience in marketing design, print design.
- Proficiency in design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), and Canva.
- Collaborative spirit and strong communication skills to brainstorm and iterate with stakeholders and fellow designers and developers, enhancing the overall brand identity and guidelines.
- Expertise in key social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X), with a solid understanding of evolving formats, trends, and best practices for each.
